Took 8 months after construction completed, but the interior is ready for view. One does not realize that a 4,000 square foot facility stacked with moving boxes will take so much time! Four months to ready for a living estate sale and four months to sort and place everything where it fits. Then, beds to be put together and beds to be made (that’s 9 beds, one day bed with a trundle, and one sofa bed).
All the pots and pans and the 10 or so sets of china I accumulated. Make your own pot rack, put up all the shelves, make curtains, place hardware, and hang 36 windows of curtains.
Then it’s time to hang all those pictures and mirrors! That took 2 days. Then the lamps!!! Who would ever think they would be a challenge? I guess if they weren’t vintage and antique it would be simpler to find the right lampshade! I am very good at not keeping things simple. But, after all, this place is to be an experience! My justification.
